The Ballad of Disséminé [vi]

Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of poems...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 6.

Procastination- The Ballad of Disséminé {vi}

Beauty is as beauty goes,
the human autumn wind can ravage
worse than the needle full of
botox.

Enchantress, weaving banners
made of pure sunlight and storm
clouds, tempered out into a
metaphysical haze of colour.

Underneath her cool exterior lies
a hidden peal of heaven harps.
She is with child, her bosom fills
with nourishing life for this child.
She is never alone.

Beyond the miserable umbrella
of a gentle smile, she faces demons
beyond all mortal comprehension.
To speak of her past is blasphemy
and to talk of her future is an unproven
lie.

Her name is at the back of
every pale and mortal tongue,
cosmic gases spell it out in the
skies, yet no astronomer can
read this literature of the rapture.

Disséminé, her name.

Awe.
