Interlude [ix]

Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of poems...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 9.

Procastination- Interlude {ix}

The mission is half complete,
and I'm left half empty.
I can taste the shattered glass
scratching at my throat
like a cat grooming it's claws.

The fireflies disturb my sleep and
romantic notions interupt my dreams.

The battle ground is set, the trenches
have been dug out. The soil is reserved
for the numerous, speedy burials.

Perhaps now is the time, for me
to bow out of the cause? To spend my
days in a safe white cell having morning
tea with Holden and Esther?

yeah so uh. this is all like really good and all. seriously. amazing.
really creative.

But I can't help but to say this:
Did you not notice that you spelled procrastination wrong, or did you mean to do that? o_O

Shorter but definately not lacking the beauty that the others have.

I realised that I misspelt it, and to be quite frank, meh, I don't care. I write poetry, not dictionaries. I don't think I should be bothered with something so...facile. Poetry, in my opinion, is meant to display something you are thinking about, with the certain bounderies in certain styles of poems. I don't bother with spell checker because it screws with my head. I'll fix it if it bothers you.

Could it get any better? o_o
