Mmkay, new project. I am gonna write a series of poems...that tell a story. Like a poetic version of a concept album. Chaa. This is part 12. I had to shorten the title somewhat. I had Inari Syndrome lol. Long titles are good =]. Hopefully, the longer title version will make much more sense than not.

Procrastination- I Love The Smell of Baby Powder and Prozac In The Morning {xii}

The constant stuttering of raindrops bounce off
the corragated tin roof. The rust, seeping in
like blood through a poor applied bandage crawls
down my supposedly-serene, whitewash walls.
Is the building I temporarily sleep in; depressed
as myself? Poor thing, it has no way
of self destruction, just self mutalisation.

They usher me into an office study, decorated
with sepia coloured volumes of mental
maladies. A doctor signs my parole slip.

I am free.

Never before has the sunbeams seemed so
dusty, each aged wave of light kisses my skin
with a cancerous care. I see The Sunshine
and my beloved Disséminé, at the sercurity
gates, beyond the fields of rye and razorwire.
In her arms, a cherub, a becon of hope
on a sea of perpectual demention.

The boy has no name, as of yet. His
shy little smile, the innocence pure,
like a stream in the middle of the earth,
in his sparky green eyes. Those eyes, the
pupils were like a pad of carbon paper,
the universe et al just tiny pinpricks
of shimmering golden light in the paper.
I could see the future in his eyes, I
could look into the past and gaze
like a vacant narrator into the present.
Little wisps of fine flaxen hair cover
his head.

I don't want to hold him
in fear of dropping him. If I
did let him fall, like I have let myself
drop, he'd smash into a million shards
of permanant glass, forever embedded
into my flesh. Such a delicate little boy,
yet he's the one to save us all.

Shocked
Another victim of the dreaded Inari syndrome. Someone send in the paramedics! Or not.

I love it like I love all of your work but sadly not as much as I love you.

lmfao Inari Syndrome!

I think this one is my favourite so far. The last stanza was just... hauntingly beautiful.
