 | October 16th, 2006 at 01:59pm This is the story of two best friends who dance and mean the world to each other. I think their names are like, Sara and Julie or something. Anyway, it's an excellent book. Each chapter alternates between Sara's POV and Julie's. One of them is diagnosed with liekemia and their world changes entirely. Through a series of flashbacks and present incidents, their story is told.
They created a world for themselves through dance, but the sudden illness grasps one friend within it's icy claws and as the story progresses, their time for dancing has passed.
This book made me cry so much, but I read a million times anyway. You should read it too. It makes you think. After the first time I read it and cried, I thought about what if my best friend died and I cried some more.
But it's excellent, well written, entertaining and thought provoking. Read it. |
