I didn't mean to disappoint you
Make you feel ashamed
Mixing up the lies and truth
There's only me to blame
If only I could take it back
Rethink and start again
Redeal the cards, shuffle the pack
If only to keep me sane
The lies I told, my poison spread
The thick, crimson betrayal
Boiling over inside my head
Knowing how I have failed
Please pick me up from off the ground
See how my tears are falling
I promise not to make a sound
Just know that I am sorry |
