We just decided we were going to write songs that feel good to us." - Steve Harwell, Smash Mouth Smash Mouth formed in 1994 in California when Steve Harwell and Kevin Coleman got together and brought in Greg Camp and Paul DeLisle. The band played local clubs in the California area before getting recognition on a local radio station with their song "Nervous In The Alley" which led to a record contract with Interscope Records in 1997. I think they're excellent, with their individual lyrics and out there music style. I love them.

And I was like...err...Smash Mouth on the radio is a big deal for me! I found out who Smash Mouth were from the Austin Powers Goldmember soundtrack haha 'Ain't No Mystery' - effin great track
