 | November 27th, 2006 at 03:43pm All those things that I adore
Those things you always seem to do so perfectly
Just made it hit me,
How I wish I were you.
What's on your mind?
How can I tell,
without being one
With the things you do
How I wish I were you.
I wish I had your talents
And I want your personality
I wish your smile was mine
And the way you make me feel...
Oh how I wish you felt it too.
I know that this might seem kinda cliched and stuff, but you know what? It's from the deepest corner of my heart. I really feel this. And that's what poems are all about. Not if they are cliched or not. The thing inside it is what counts.
Just my opinion

I suggest you read the rules. I’d hate to delete this post. Maybe you want to edit it so I don’t have to??
Edit: looks like I had to anyway. Sorry. |

| November 27th, 2006 at 05:36pm It doesn’t seem cliché It’s adorable. Bittersweet but adorable.
It is simplistic but the honesty, structure, flow and wording makes it work.
Even if it lacked metaphors, grand words or descriptive words it’s
still great poem because it’s vague in just the right way.
Also, I think the parts in italics are just right and give the poem more depth.
I like it a lot! It’s a perfect example of how poems doesn’t
have to be over complex to be good. |
