I guess you could say this was suitably bare. We do not speak, yet are so restless. Catarrh ridden coughs ring out. Creak the solemn heave of chairs Click a savage smash of pen on paper Gush the river of ink, nervously flowing Smash a stiletto heel hatters the canvas clad floor Perfect silence never seemed so loud. The rest of our lives, decided forever.

And the structure was to die for, honestly. It's short, and poetically simple - which can be hard to do well. Damn good job.
