Bio
The butchers are a four piece “wanna be” metal band. The Butchers consist of 4 supersonic young cockheads, who love to try, but always fail to pump out fly beats.

They play at various times and venues though the year and there incredible fan base is multiplying almost everyday. The Butchers have another supersonic website on the loose and if you like what you see here you should head there…

A Little Bit Of Butchered History
The Butchers first came about in early April after some cock head from some cock headed band said that the two founding members (QUIGS and SWEENEY) could play a set at the band's friend's party... So the two naive little boys handed over their numbers practiced day in and day out waiting anxiously by the phone only to find themselves devastated. A few weeks of intensive counseling then took place, and shortly after that they decided "fuck it let's do it anyway", and so set the scene for The Butchers fourth coming experiences and dilemmas.

The Butchers went about their local high school scouring for a drummer, singer, and a bass player. After being in music class for about 5 minutes that day they decided to ask their first bass player, long time friend Jeremy "The Old Guy" Wilson to join their band, not knowing what troubles may lay ahead. A few lessons passed and they were in dire need of a drummer and singer, when suddenly it seemed like the heavens had smiled upon them and blessed with... Anthony "Unco" Carlson who was about to do his practical assessment for music. After this attempt at playing Evermore's "It's Too Late" The Butchers thought Anthony "Unco" Carlson couldn't sing or play the drums but regardless the next day they asked him in, and they soon found out that Anthony "Unco" Carlson could sufficiently drum and was a kick arse singer.

The Butchers first problem as a band occurred after their first few jams, although Jeremy "The Old Guy" Wilson's Obvious talent the styles just didn't match up, the bass was screaming out Grinspoon while the rest of the band was fighting for a more Slipknot, System of a Down sound, (these being the only moderately heavy bands these boys had discovered at the time) and so something had to snap. A few more jams went by when the agreement was made, the styles were just too different and The Butchers had to reluctantly let go of their bass player.

Soon after short time friend but huge Metallica fan Wayne "Crimmy" Petty came onto the scene and after one jam, The Butchers knew he was the one for them, so they stayed up late one April 8th writing a "soon to be rock classic" "Supersonic Ron", the night before their first gig. At this point they didn't know if they were going to play this gig, their drummer didn't know this new song in the making nor did he know there was a new bass player. So they woke up early April 9th got to the gig, sat around for a while, then decided to ring their drummer, "Come down to the community centre" they said, "bring your drum sticks you'll find out why when you get here." And with that The Butchers played their shittest gig ever.

The Butchers went on for several months producing hit after hit, and playing shit gigs after shit gigs until yet another catastrophe Wayne " Crimmy" Petty was leaving for Queensland in a few months... This was shortly resolved after asking long time friend and fan of The Butchers, Dane "The New Guy" Overton if he would like to join their band, he agreed and they all shook hands and then discovered he had never played bass didn't own a bass guitar or amp and didn't have any money to buy these things, The Butchers are a strong bunch and could see light at the tunnel so they trooped on and overcame this small milestone. They are currently on their way to a better tomorrow.
