 | December 5th, 2006 at 08:48am Well, what Winter Wonderland suggested; more descriptive words. Adjectives and adverbs work very well in poetry. Also, metaphors are a good way to go.
You could rewrite the lines you’ve got using more descriptive words or you could do that plus add lines with metaphors.
