Kay I unno.

Standing in a field in a gray infested scene,
The sky over head painted like a dream,
with a rainbow of clouds all colored in gold,
their ancient silvers are anything but old.
Breathing in deeply, taking in the breeze
the fall is now leaving, as gone are the leaves.
Disappeared the children playing on the lawn,
The scent of pumpkin pie and cider is notibly gone.
Replaced with a smell of winter's sooner nights,
and the breath of the snowflakes falling gently in my sight.
The bitter-sweet coldness nipping at my toes,
The snow plows like winter plants, growing in rows.
And with a tear, I remember the holiday season,
where children know that parents loving has a reason.
Where gifts are given, schools out, and fresh cookies are made,
And fires turned up inside houses, lighting up the shade.
It reminds me so much of the times when I was young,
Where sledding we would go, under the winter sun.
And hot chocolate would be given to warm our rosey cheeks,
I love you need not be said, for actions, they do speak.
That's what I think of when I see the blur of snow thats fallen,
like little clouds of feathered white dandelion pollen.
As I turn to leave the field, it's turned from gray to white-
Crunching through the sudden snow, I acknowledge my smile.

Happy holidays. I guess it isnt about holidays, but about the season, so anyway, HAPPY WINTER, before global warming kill sus all and we wont have snow to worry about. Enjoy it while it lasts.
