| Revenge;; Geek  Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 270  | Only In October… The leaves fade And turn different shades And fall to the ground As the wind blows them away I walk this path Holding on to this rose tight In fear it might float away Only in October Is when I can see you In this lonesome cemetery That is your final resting place Stepping up each marble stair As tears fall from my eyes Calling out your name In no hope of a respond As I walk up the last marble step I come to face your grave I whip most my tears away And kneel down on my knees I look at your head stone And softly whisper to myself; “I miss you, And love you so. I’m sending all the butterfly kisses I can give, In hope you will receive them. I love you for always, And for always will.” Then my eyes fill up with tears once more As I lay this single rose down on your grave I stand up and take a step back While thinking of all the memories we have made And as I turn to walk away The wind begins to pick up And for some odd reason it seemed to say These exact words in a whisper That I still remember till this day “I miss you, And love you so. I’m sending all the butterfly kisses I can give, In hope you will receive them. I love you for always, And for always will.” |
