| December 31st, 2006 at 12:25am I have lost control of the reins,
So now I breathe in brains,
From the grounds smoldering ruin,
Of a past best left forgotten.
My carriage is now broken,
Words are best left unspoken,
Sound could awake the black crippled dog,
Releasing all despair.
A deep resonating sound,
Reverberates from the ground,
A foreboding bark from the black silhouette,
Of the three legged terror.
Eyes glowing like an ember,
Crooked teeth to dismember,
Advancing speedily beyond its crippled frame,
Like a torrent of dark fury.
Facing the foes yellow teeth,
With my palm to my sheath,
I march forward toward my nearing foe,
Ready for the onslaught.
Now the crazed creature leaps,
While my sword slowly creeps,
Unsheathing cold steel from my hip,
As enemies collide.
The beasts weight on my chest,
Is now laid here to rest,
As I pull my sword from the belly,
Of my menacing black dog. |
