Tears staining my cheeks
Crying over you
Grabbing my things
Packing my bags
Calling a cab
Whipping the tears away
Sitting on my bed
Thinking about everything that happened
In which is making me do this
Hearing the honk of the cab
Handing my bags over
To the cab driver man
And getting into the back set
Arriving at the airport
Boarding this plane
That will take me far away
I can’t look back
This is farewell
As I blow a kiss good-bye
To a love
That is now in the past

Sitting here
Holding her picture
Tears falling from my eyes
As I rub my fingers over her figure
Why did we fight?
Ending it this way
It can’t be over
My love for her
Is still to great
I have to call her
I have to let her know
Picking up the phone
Calling her number
To only get the machine
And this is what it said;
“If this is you, and you know who you are.
I still love you, and for always will.
But it seems we can’t be together.
So, I’m taking this plane.
Far, far away from here.
But, blowing a kiss down below.
Hoping it will reach you.
I love you, and for always will.”
Hanging the phone up
Dropping it to the floor
Sobbing even more
As my heart splits in two
The plane flies higher
And further away
The answer machine
Flashing a light of red
And saying the words on the screen
“One Missed Call…” |

annoying, not that your poem was annoying i guess i just have a bias
agaist that particular formatting, which may just happen to be your style,
