Falling In Love With The Board Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 5246 | i must dig up this thread to say...the show last night was one of THE BEST SHOWS I'VE EVER BEEN TOO! =O [yes, caps were needed] dweezil was really good! i've never heard him play frank's stuff before this and i'm thoroughly amazed. the rest of the stage band was incredible! the singer did not stop moving, he did some crazy dance jigs. and his vocals were amazing. i've never been to a show where everything was synchronized so well! zombie woof was definitely the best song [one of my favorites too =O]. well cuz in that song steve vai and dweezil did some amazing soloing, and of course, dueling! =O at first, i really didn't think dweezil could keep up there with vai but he proved me wrong. dweezil can hold his ground even against someone as amazing as vai. terry bozzio was amazing as well! his kit is...not of this planet! o_O i'll attempt to describe it but it would probably make it sound less than it actually is. so there's 4 bass drums, a bunch of toms, and A LOT of cymbols. but they weren't on stands....they were on a bar [like an arc] above his head! =O there's like 20 of them! EDIT: here's a picture i found of the kit *takes deep breath* all in all, it was a breathtaking concert that i hope to attend again some day [as dweezil said he'd bring it around again]. |
