Angels of decadence come crashing down,
Guilded hearts reverred by the lame,
Ashen faces and golden crowns,
Hold nought but shame.
Is love just a petty lie?
Insecurity prevails above serenity,
Apathy poisons as the righteous fall and die,
Corrosion of lives caused by a faceless entity.
I lost my soul to your treachery,
Now I'd give it all for your misery. |
