Never again will i wait while my brain slowly rotts away
Never again can i sit through all this mindless chatter
Whats it all for anyway?
Does it really get you to a place you want to be?
I see them and can't help but wonder
How long until they break
How long until they too get lost in the everyday shuffle
that is world has come to know as 'life'
From Sun Up to Sun Down
The same stupid thing everyday
Like trained dogs who jump at the first command
How long until we roll over?
It never ceases.only increases.
A place where dogs are taught to eat dogs.
Since when does War bring Peace?
Since when does ignorance solve a problem?
Nothing promised is fufilled
Nothing put into motion pulls us foward
Doing nothing isn't the answer...is it?
Are we meant to supress who we really are?
What we really think?
How long until the beliefs they thrust upon us become our own?
Some of the strong beat the cycle
But most are left to sit back and see souls destroyed
To watch the world turn to dust.
To see the future die. |
