| January 24th, 2007 at 09:36pm Silacon lips press against their mirrored neighbours,
rubber passion returns the favour.
Plastic hearts beat simoltaneously
no wonder they all get along famously.
Brain cells made of fiber glass,
think not what to do- and not what to ask
but they think of themselves. They refuse to admit
that their blocking out truth- so soon they'll forget.
Phony eyes scan plywood faces-
remembering broken record phrases.
Mangled thoughts made out of wire,
Energy from burning fire.
Following in herds and lines-
leaving reality behind.
For what is real is now manufactured,
and souls are selling out much faster.
So will the next one's sing the same songs?
Or pick up where we have gone wrong? |

 | January 26th, 2007 at 02:30pm I think the last four lines need an extra syllable or two, but other than that I liked it. The images came out clearly and wonderfully. It's just. It's the right amount of description and metaphor but it's still obvious what you're talking about. |
