Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 49206 | April 30th, 2006 at 08:25pm I love this movie, so I needed to make it.
I'm not going to make a thread for The Meaning Of Life, I'm going to leave that option open for anyone else willing to make it.
SO, Life Of Brian....
It's about a man named Brian Cohen, who is coincidentally born in a stable on Christmas, right next to Jesus. The three wise men appear and begin to distribute their gifts to Brian and his mother Mandy, but soon realise that they gave the gifts to the wrong baby and take them all back. Thirty years later, Brian is still living with his mother, who eventually reveals to him that he is a Roman. He protests, and joins the People's Front of Judea, an anti-Roman revolutionary group. Brian joins the group in a plot to kidnap the emperor, Pilate's, wife, and unfortunately bump into a rival group doing the same thing. Brian, being the only one still concious, is arrested and interviewed by Pilate. While the guards are laughing helplessly at the name of Pilate's friend "Biggus Dickus", Brian escapes, and finds his way back to the group. As he starts making up a speech to local people, due to Brian falling out of a window, the group of listeners become convinced and start to believe that he is the Messiah.
I think that's all I'm going to post for info about the movie.
Post your thoughts about it, your favourite scenes/lines, etc.

 | July 27th, 2006 at 08:58pm This movie was awesome. They had full frontal nudity, too, which surprised me, but made it so much funnier, even if it was only for one scene. And I love the part where the townspeople accused the woman of being a witch and they went through the whole discussion of how to tell if she was a witch or not. XD |

| December 30th, 2006 at 09:29pm I love pretty much any Monty Python film. This is near the top, though. Last I watched it was on Halloween, but I was under the influence of things, so it was funnier. |
