"Madina lake is a quiet sleepy lakeside town perched in the valley of its guardian mountains.

Set in the 50's, the town is lost and isolated from the rest of the world. It's grounds are the setting for many strange occurances.

It's a microcosm of a society, enriched with social, political and meta-physical nuances.

A place where lies, crimes, and deceit, are buried by its inhabitants.

Such a place, compels a soundtrack..."

If you haven't heard of Madina Lake (which you probably haven't], they're a fairly new rock band from Chicago, who are signed to Roadrunner records. Their influences include Refused, Muse, Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails. And their music will blow you away Retard

They basically have worked out a whole concept which their music and lyrics work around about a small town where a woman called Adalia goes missing, and over their records the listener can solve the mystery, by finding clues in things like the music and album artwork. The soon-to-be-released debut album comes with a story written by the band explaining the dissapearance of Adalia. Pretty awesome if you ask me Jenn

They were chosen one of the top 10 bands to look out for this year in Kerrang! magazine. This IS gonna be their year, so make sure you check them out in a small venue while you still can, because you can meet them and I guarantee that they will be the nicest 4 people that you will ever meet. I've met them twice, once supporting Paramore and once last night supporting Gym Class Heroes. At both shows they hung around with me for nearly an hour, just talking about what sorts of bands inspired them, their album ideas and how happy they are to be playing to people who appreciate their music.

Madina Lake currently have an EP out called "The Dissapearance of Adalia." It contains six amazing songs and I strongly suggest you buy it, if you get it at one of their shows you can get it signed and it'll be even cooler Wink (You might also have difficulty finding it in the shops because at the moment they're still a pretty small band). Their debut album, "From Them, Through Us, To You," comes out on March 27th, which should be even better, with even more songs to orgasm over tehe

Video for the first single, "House of Cards."

They filmed a bit of their video at the place where my mum works.
