Love and pursuit of
Wisdom
By Intellectual Means
and Self-Discipline
We search for knowledge
And enjoy the passion
Of our own means
Our philosophy
Silence, fatigue on loneliness
Searching for the answers
Regrets of our decisions
Yet we continue to search
With who do we reside?
Our hollows, our lives
When god awakes we find
We are just a shallow lie. |

I really loved this poem, but I'm not too keen on the opening stanza. It just doesn't seem to convey a complete thought like the other 3 stanzas do.
Other than that, I love it! |

 | February 19th, 2007 at 01:58am Thanks. I'm not too proud of the opening stanza, eighter. It was more of a thing to get me going when I write.
Usually, when I do write, the last stanza is the best. |

The last stanza was a particular favourite of mine; it was like everything else was intended purely to cement that one ending line. Great job. |
