a girls down on the floor bleeding
slowly to her death
in her arm the name Austin carved
the one she actually loved
the one she couldn't have
a razorblade in her tightly closed hand
this all happened with a flash of light
and the stain of blood
She has second thoughts
but her cries go unheard
as death slowly creeps towards her
coming from behind
is it to late or does some one care
with a blink of an eye
death is standing over the frail body
how thin it was compared to what it once was
how pale it is from her summers tan
the white carpet now a dark red
theres a shadow in the distance
of some one who truly cares
they call out to the dark ghostly shadow above her
as it realizes its not her time to go
she got a second chance
because some one cared enough |
