Love, Live And Forget (Freestyle)
They say; Live, Love And Forget
But this memory needs not be forgotten
Where it should be,
It shall stay
The fact that only i see it
Does not degrade it in any way
It marks not that it is insignificant
The fact that it is not publisized
North to south, east to west
Far and wide
Doesn't mean it has not the potential
Of Austen, Orwell or Harper Lee
The fact you cannot analyze
Only goes to convince me more
Being quiet,
Not voicing your every thought
Is a blessing in disguise
These little treasures in everyday life
Tiny gemstones, diamonds even, of the mind
You may decide mine are worthless,
Not worth tit for tat
But thats exactly my point
I decide what means what for me
And if you don't quite agree, thats fine
Because you had no idea in the first place
Just which gemstone i was talking about. |
