The Moon

The moon, devoured by the black clouds
That quietly stalk it as the scenery
Changes and the only one left is me.
The sky has turned black with hate, flowing
through the stars.
Sinful eyes are lurking through the corridor, watching,
Waiting. Blood pumping through
Every vessel of your body as the
Insects sing a sweet melody while you
glide amongst the forgotten dead.
Blood has turned into wine, a most
Sweet and excellent wine that
flows through the mindless saints
That loook down on us now and
The mistreated lovers that we
Once held dear. Their pain, wrapped
Around your wrist like rose thorns
Piercing your skin. A most
Distasteful odor leaking through
Every pore, guilt? But careful
Noe, the moon's prevailing.
The clouds that surround it are noe coming clean.
The moon shines only so brightly,
But the cries have awakened from
The darkest depths of my soul.
