Silenced

Screaming becomes whispers
Barely heard at all
A voice so scarcely heard, therefore ignored

Hearing becomes muffled,
Hardly understanding,
A mind so oft secluded, therefore alone

Attempts at wiping the board clean
Of misunderstanding
A try so soon repeated, therefore overlooked

Suffocation rising,
Throat closing in from pressure
A thought never occured it would come to this

Another silenced question
She just wanted to know
Isn't there anyone there who understands?

A/N: The story line goes that she's feeling panic because she's trying to get everyone to hear her, and understand her, before it's too late... and everyone just keeps beating her into the ground and not listening.
So it has something to do with panic. Hoorah.
