Shadows dart before her eyes
Spinning fate, a weak comprise
This empty game, she was drawn in
Taking souls - she lives for sin
Shriek of terror, cries of pain
We used to play this horrid game
But now we wait, upon the hour
To see the one to be devoured
Dashing through the midnight calm
Streak of poise, streak aplomb
Screams and pleas, a cry for aid
Mercy - none. Well put, well played
And after you are to be done in
The last you saw, maniacal grin
Close your eyes to hold off fate
But soon you stand at heaven's gate
Fight for freedom, fight for hope
Sliding down the living slope
Reach the bottom, death be done
Then you will know that she has won |
