in between the void you stand
holding onto the autumn leaves,
the new seeds and life
whirlwinds of ice and leaves
fuse behind me with the essence which is you
blending with the cold
and the old stories that were told

summer was gone before it began
no spring, no winter
just the cold autumn evenings
showered in leaves
buried under the piles of dust and ashes
set me ablaze and watch you walk away
you stand in inside the void which is life
