What Went Wrong?

Time passes by
As I look out the window.
Is it fair that I think of you at all
I don’t know.

Your name has become a faded word
Gone from my mind.
It’s useless to hold on to a memory,
I have come to find.

We walk through the halls in school
And don’t say hi,
And it kills me a little inside,
How much time has gone by
Since you were my friend.
Our friendship was one I thought
Would last to the very end.

You proved me wrong when you called me,
Saying “I don’t feel right, I can’t be your friend,”
And leaving gashes in my heart
That were impossible to mend.

You found new friends,
And left me in the dust.
You walked away and laughed,
Stomping on my trust.

Now I look back,
A year gone by,
You pass by me now,
Without a “Hello” or ”Goodbye”


What went so wrong?

in some places it seemed somewhat choppy, but i like the idea. And the rhyming was a tad forced, but its still pretty good *hands cookie*
