Jack's Mannequin

I searched to see if this topic exsisted and nothing came up so here i go:

anybody a fan of Jack's Mannequin? They're not a punk band, but more alternative. I saw them live, supporting Panic! at the Disco and they were great. Some of you might at least know the song Dark Blue, even if you don't know the band. So.....does anyone else like them here?

Jack's Mannequin is a alt-rock band from Orange County, California. The lead singer of JM, Andrew, from Something Corporate formed the band in 2004, the band's debut album was released in August 2005. In June of that year, McMahon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After making a full recovery, Everything in Transit was received with positive response by fans and critics. They are currently signed to Maverick Records.

andrew wrote the songs for Everything in Transit and alot of them are mostly about dealing with his leukemia. Their songs are really theraputic to listen to and the lyrics are deep.

ahh i love them, i saw them with P!ATD in December hehe they were great live!

i saw them with PANIC.
he pretty much murdered his piano.

they are a great band though.

I saw them live almost 2 months ago with Panic! and Cobra Starship.

yeah that's what i heard from p!atd website..their drummer was really good. I wasn't too fond of Bloc Party, actually

Plain White T's replaced Bloc Party for Some of the Tour and Cobra met up with PANIC and JM later on. Yes his lung collapsed.

My friend saw them with P!ATD although i've never really heard their music. I do think it's cool that the lead singer fought Cancer and all that jazz.

I just saw Jack's Mannequin live a few hours ago. It was amazing.
That band was unbelievable.
If anyone has an opportunity to see them live, take it because I just had the best night of my life.
The guys are really nice too. Andrew and John stopped to take pictures with the fans and talked to us for almost an hour.
