 | May 29th, 2007 at 01:20pm I see no problem with the girl proposing; but I think its traditional and more romantic for the man to propose.

 | May 30th, 2007 at 05:14pm It seems somewhat strange to me, but I'm all for it. I could never do that, because I'm too shy. I suppose it seems strange because of the traditional male proposal but whatever floats peoples' boats. |

I'd just like the guy to propose to me I guess. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 3542 | June 3rd, 2007 at 06:26pm I don't think it should matter, but then again I'm too shy to do it anyways. If my boyfriend and I do take it that far (which I know we're both hoping we will), I'm sure he'll be the one to do it. I'm really shy for one. And he loves to do things old fashioned and romantic; I find it absolutely adorable.
It's all just opinion, whatever the couple thinks that's right. |

The love is the same.
We're not living in the 1200's anymore.
I have a story to share.
A guy who lived in my area was injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
My sister knew him.
Anyway.
His legs were lost, and his lungs were in terrible condition.
Luckily, a few months ago, he recovered and came back.
And his girlfriend proposed to him.
Now tell me. Is that wrong? I think it's rather touching. |
