ha, #12 are nothing more than a metalcore band. If they're what you consider "not music" I suggest you take a look here. |

Eh...
Well, all I have to say is that even if you don't prefer their style or genre of music, there should definitely be a respect factor in there. These guys work their asses off and will be touring nonstop this year... Besides the point, imagine touring for an entire year of your life.
Nevertheless, their music isn't easily digested by most people, it even took me a little while to start liking them. And I know this is a Green Day forum; totally different style of music and concept..No offense at all, But at least a band like Green Day is already set with fans, promotions, advertising and radio play, etc... But when The Number 12 or someone of their caliber get that type of mainstream success, we'll know then that it will be a true music revolution.
And what's wrong with a well-timed revolution?
Just take a Look at Elvis, the Beatles, Nirvana, and Green Day. |

Well, I respect all the hard work they've put into it. They probably have more talent in one finger than I do in my whole body. And if they ever do get mainstream success, then congratulations. I respect what they do.
It's just not my cup of tea. |

I understand...
And even the band themselves admit their music is hard to get into..
It's basically all about what you like and what you're willing to like.
PS.
I didn't mean to go off on you on that last post, it was pretty much just a rant to the entire group of people reading, if anyone reads this. haha. |
