I've been in it since the day it started. You can choose to be a private or a general. A private just spreads the word and promotes with flyers and stuff. The general does all that stuff PLUS they recruit 10 privates. It's really cool, and I personally am REALLY glad that I can help them in any way, since I want to be and intern for Adeline.
So, what exactly is the contest about? I mean, what can we win?
You mean the Adeline Army? It's not a contest. It's a Street Team. You know, you spread the word and advertise for them and all that good stuff. So...JOIN!! Join Join Join Join JOIN!!! haha just spreadin the word haha

Adeline Records just started an official street team... the Adeline Army. Soon it will be full of contests, promotions, all sorts of free shit. And who doesn't like getting free merch? But we need your help to get it going.
It's pretty damn easy to join: add the Army as a friend on MYSPACE, and register by sending us a myspace message with your full name, address and email address. Then tell your friends to do the same thing. The sooner we get the word out there and get more recruits, the sooner we can get started on some contests, and the sooner you can start winning free swag (sorry, but we can only ship to the US and Canada for now... we're working on getting things out to other countries!).

Anyone can sign up whether through MySpace or e-mail.
Well, even though NOTHING happens where I live... it's still pretty cool. It is a street team, but there are also a lot of contests. I won an autographed picture of TLE!! And my friend got sent a lot of Jesse Malin posters for promoting purposes. They came too late, so she just got to keep them.
But yeah... it's really cool. *cheers for Adeline*
