Go check it out, definately. The biggest film festival in the UK, I believe. It's featured Pulp Fiction in the past. I'll check the schedual, they might have a This is England slot.  Wow I'm making myself sound really lame.

...OK. But there should be a bunch of great films showing. maybe this Christmas break, I'll try and get myself over to England to at least see the BIFA. The Raindance website still needs to be properly launched, but until then, it's nice knowing that This is England has nominations almost across the board.
But this year is tough competition because The Queen and [i]Last King of Scotland[i] are in the running for this year. But This is England is bound to win at least for Supporting Actor/Actress, because they've gotten themselves two nominations for that.
The promising new comer and screenplay award should be secured as well.
I'm a bit like Mick Jones, we're both huge film buffs.
