they're from ontario, canada, and they OWN.
their newest CD, Kezia, is incredible.
absolutely AMAZING.
the singer's voice reminds me of a fusion between chiodos and billy talent, and they scream enough to satisfy my "grindcore/hxc/wtfever" loving ass.
the CD is a bit of a concept album which tells the story of an imprisoned girl named kezia who is to be executed, and at the same time displays their talent at having mastered their instruments, plus their ability to create some BADASS riffs and melodies.
I tried to see them at warped tour but they played before I was able to get in. or something... just, I missed them.
anyways, I plan to see them w/ trivium this fall.
give them a listen and say what you think.

I've loved them for quite a long time. Met Rody twice, Luke once, Arif once ...
Saw them at the Opera House before too ...
I must admit, I'm not so sure what I think about they're newfound success. I remember a year ago NO ONE knew who the fuck they were and now suddenly they're the new cool band to love.
Anyways. They're my absolute favourite band. |

YES. New music, and Fortress comes out in January and I have a ticket to see them February 8th, so fucking stoked.
I saw them play a few songs at Tussle in the Temple a couple of weeks ago. The new stuff is fucking insane live. |
