Decided to post it just 'cause I missed poetry [first one I wrote since June].
Sounds quite cliche, but oh well. :3
The pressure behind my eyes; tears,
as the smile spreads across my face.
The glint in your hazel irises make
the beat in my chest, the beat of the drums
accelerate into a clamour of joy.
Love: the touch of your hand against my cheek,
my fingertips running through your hair.
