High Fidelity is a romantic comedy (yet so much more) staring John Cusack and based off a novel the novel by Nick Hornby. John Cusack plays Rob Gordon, a music-obsessed Chicago record store owner, who breaks up with his girlfriend Laura and, as a result, decides to recount his former romances.

Since it's my all-time favorite movie (and one of my top 5 favorite books), I figured it needed a thread on this message board full of music lovers. Anyone else seen the movie or read the book and love it as much as I do?

If you enjoyed the book, you'll definietly enjoy the movie. A good chunk of it is the exact dialouge from the book and I think the transition from London to Chicago, though it's often critisized, is done really well. And some of the scenes are just priceless to see acted out. Mr. Green
