Flitting away on goldenrod wings- lining the silver air.
Shimmering contrast. (breathing in dust, and exhaling flowers)
Sharing magic- turning life to the bold and beautiful.
Can you stand tall- shimmy lilacs from wandering fingertips?
Robbers fleeting on the edge of dawn-
(Black and white jail stripes, blotting sunken meanings on our brains)
Shaking final dewdrops of flaxen rays from the lovestruck sun,
As she kisses the moon good morning- nestling down into fermented ebony leaves,
Dancing amongst the stardust until it chokes her into a permanent sleep. |
