Green Day Guitar Tabs

I was thinking that it would be nice if there was a section for Green Day guitar tabs/notes.

It's just a suggestion that I think would be nice.

i think thats a really good idea

I concur.
Every time I look up tabs or chords for Green Day songs, I try and play them and they're all messed up.

And besides, then I'd only be a click away from learning a new song.

I also think it is a really good idea, however there may be copyright issues. Maybe if this idea flies Dujo could make a request in that department?

I'm not sure really.
A lot of people on here post blahs all the time saying 'I learned a new Green Day song on the guitar' maybe we could get donations or something along those lines.

There is a bullet in a bible guitar tabs book that i have, there could be others out there already, hence the copyright issue question

oh and there are a whole bunch on Guitar Pro 5, I have the disk somewhere but I wouldn't have a clue as to how to post them D:

For the book thing, we could do a works cited or just state where the tabs came from.

You have to be wary of copyright laws though.

A lot of tab websites had to get rid of their tabs because of copyright..

For academic purposes that is generally okay but you can't reproduce a work in it's entirety. In this case I think the best thing would be to seek formal approval if already published (and licensed by Green Day for accuracy) or have someone write them out.
