Three months is the first trimester, six months is the second, and nine months is the third trimester, correct? The book I have goes by weeks. 
The first trimester is from conception to 12 weeks, the second trimester is from the 13th week to the 28th week, and the third trimester is from the 28th week until the baby's born. |

That's the same as the months. 4 weeks to a month.
So yeah, First three months is equal to 12 weeks and so on.. |

Until then, the correct term is fetus and whether or not they are alive is a matter of personal opinion, and how one defines "alive". |

Tbh Im not really 'for' or 'against' it. I think it totally depends on the person thats having the abortion and their situation. For example, I think it's totally understandable and exceptable that a person would have an abortion, if they were raped, or young (etc). But I do think it's really wrong when people, especailly people that are old enough to know what they're doing, get pregant several times, and just keep having abortions, just because they 'can't be botherd' with contraception. |

Posts: 4 | August 29th, 2008 at 08:03pm I dont particularly agree with abortion. I think that there are circumstances that happen in this world and those need to looked at on a individual basis. What makes me fearful and i am often scoffed at when i say this is that i dont think that abortion should become a substitute for birth control or laziness.
I think as when you are old to decide you are ready to have sex, you are old enough to take responsibility for you actions. |
