BASS PEOPLE... this is a stupid question... but please help!

You have active pick-ups i guess. Meaning that your pick-ups have to have a seperate power supply. Whereas passive pick-ups don't need power. I think active pick-ups can sounds quite band if you don't play them through the right amps. . I prefer passive anyway.

The strings reach right the way to the bottom of the body and the head is quite small, making it look shorter than other basses. THis must have been years ago that I wrote this topic... I'm a little wiser now
