So...I'm doing a project on sonnet cycles for my Shakespeare class. My topic is Doctor Who, but I'm swamped with ideas and don't know what to write about.

Here's an example:

DALEKS!
These age-old enemies of Gallifrey
Don't seem to be too intimidating;
They don't think for themselves, they just obey.
Yet to this day, the Doctor's still chasing
them 'cross the universe. Conniving beasts,
they seek to exterminate everything
in sight. It takes many amazing feats
to get away from the darkness they bring.
The sighting of a Dalek means trouble -
very soon, a city they'll be razing.
Although their actions are questionable,
they're still able to be quite amusing:
Because they have no legs under their base,
They struggle to climb over a staircase.

Yep. Not the greatest sonnet in the world, but you get the idea Mr. Green Any suggestions on what to write about?

(Hopefully some of you watch Doctor Who, it's a great show...and if you don't, where is this rock you're living under?)

DOCTOR WHOOOOOOOOOOO.

I've written a few soppy Doctor sonnets.

Try to write iwth a universial mystisim, like the Doctor would.

But I think the one you have there has a classic ending :lmfao.

It goes back to the saying: Daleks do not climb stairs, they level the building!

This response is kind of really late, but thanks for the input!

Got a good grade on the project, so I'm happy =)
