Show: True Blood

So True Blood is an hbo production based on the Sookie Stackhouse book series and it mostly refers to vampires. Sookie is a waitress working at this bar in Bon Temps, Louisiana. One night a vampire, Bill Compton comes to the bar and asks for True Blood. This is how it all gets started. On the way, the vampire mystery is being revealed, they apparently progressed from fellow citizens and only at that time they had exposed their true identity. Meanwhile the government began taking sides, most of the people considering that vampires were bad creatures and were against their religion.
To get rid of the problem of blood, some scientists had invented a form of syntetic blood for vampires to drink instead of real blood and this was Tru Blood.
The characters are drawn into a series of mysteries and more and more about vampires and especially Bill Compton are being revealed in weird circumstances.
