Green Day didn't like the material they had written and they scrapped it. They used the whole "stopen tapes" thing as an excuse. yep thats my view as well.i mean its like classic GD xD everyone's drunk and it's like: Billie:This recording is shit Mike:I know,we really need to write new material we're comfortable with,and release some of these songs later. Billie and Mike:Hell yeah let's go. i mean for me it just sounds like something they would do..they could have rerecorded the songs,and a few half produced songs are no use to anyone So i think it was an awesome way to scrap an album anyway they seem to be playing some of the songs now..it just seems to be the right time now for that music,when it wasn't in 2004
