East Bay's Greatest Hits
Diablo magazine has recently published an article naming Green Day as one of the greatest bands to come out of the East Bay. The article offers a brief history of the band as well as mentioning more recent events such as the formation of Foxboro Hot Tubs.
In other news, Billie Joe's record label, Adeline, has been advertising a video shoot for their newest band, Broadway Calls. The shoot is set to occur Sunday, March 2nd in Redding, California and any fans in attendance were promised free merchandise as well as appearing in the video.
The March Idiot Club contest has also been launched. Also, in the March 2008 issue of Spin magazine you can find an article naming Green Day to be "The Artist of the Year For Life." In another section they mention Green Day's signature Hard Rock teeshirt and how it benefits the Instant Karma campaign.
