Green Day recording the Simpsons theme song
For the new Simpsons movie (that Green Day will be appearing in), Green Day will be recording the infamous Simpsons theme song on the sound track — Except, punker. On July 24, three days before the film opens in U.S. theaters, Warner Bros. Records will put out the Green Day single.
Green Day's cover of Working Class Hero has also climbed from 25 to 14 on this week's Billboard Modern Rock chart.

ive seen it, it was awesome. there wasnt much of green day, but they did the theme song really well, and the movie was awesome. so i cant complain =]

I saw the movie ealier today and wow. Loved it :D only slight disapointment is only saw Green Day for 2 mins :( But still the rest of the movie was true simpsons humour. Must see!

I'm seeing the movie today.in about an hour.
I'm under the impression, since this happens all the time with the Simpons, that the guys voice themselves, which they more then likely do, since they recored the theme song maybe I'm just overly hopefull or maybe the idea of combing Green Day with an awsome Cartoon just too apealling to me. >_.> <_<
