Habitat for Humanity and New Album Info
In efforts to raise money for the Habitat for Humanity charity, Green Day has autographed a Gibson Epiphone guitar to be given away during an auction. 100% of all the proceeds go directly to the Habitat for Humanity charity. Other celebrities giving something away in the auction include 30 Seconds to Mars, Christian Bale, Linkin Park, the cast of Grey's Anatomy as well as many, many others. In other news, Warner Music UK has formed a mailing list for fans to sign up (with an email address) and according to that mailing list the new Green Day album can be expected next year in 2009.

Wow. I don't know why I didn't here about this earlier. As a Habitat for Hummanity volunteer, I highly recommend that as many people as possible support this cause.
