Working Class Hero live video
Last night Green Day performed Working Class Hero on the American Idol finale. Watch the performance in our video section!
Green Day will also be designing a limited-edition T-Shirt for Hard Rock and Amnesty International. The shirt will be available on June 12 and all benefits will go to the Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur (in which Working Class Hero is sponsoring as well). Shirts will be sold exclusively at Hard Rock locations around the world.

i dont watch american idiol but the next day at school everyone was like-OMG MEGHANN GREEN DAY WAS ON AMERICAN IDIOL LAST NIGHT!!! cause they know how much i LOVE green day

i thought the performance was really good. Bu I was very disapointed tht it was on American Idol. That really ruins thier rep. I thought it really poser like. They sort of made it worse for them selves bc they were already sell outs with American Idiot. But no matter of how poser like Green Day gets I'll always love those guys.

I have to get one of those shirts. I'm just surprised that there wasn't much publicity surrounding Green Day performing on "American Idol" the other night. I mean, it would have been a great way to get people interested in the Darfur region and donating. If I hadn't seen the news on greendayauthority.com I wouldn't have even known they had performed.
