Love at First Sight, chapter 5
You woke up the next morning thinking of nothing else but Billie Joe. You thought of what he meant when he said he would make it up to you. You know you just met him but you felt as though you loved him. You felt it ever since you first locked eyes with him a couple of days ago when you were playing guitar in your garage. Deciding no good would come of sitting locked up in your house all day, you got up and showered and got dressed. You were hungry and there was nothing in your house to eat so you grabbed you car keys and headed for the door to go IHOP and treat yourself to some pancakes. Opening the door you dropped your car keys and and backed up slightly, astonished at what was before you..............daisies (your favorite flower)...there must have been at least 100 on your door step. Picking up your car keys and stepping outside you realized that there was a huge heart on your front lawn drawn out in daisies. Looking down you noticed a small card placed on the daisies closest to the door. You picked it up and read it to yourself. ' I love is not enough.' That's all the card said. Picking a few daisies you got into your car a smile on your face. You proceeded to IHOP, and ate breakfeast alone, which was alittle awkward because oddly enough there were alot of couples having breakfeast together. Hopping back into your car and smiling while thinking about the daisies, you went to the cd store to check out some cds before returning home. You bought two cds which you played in your car on your way home. Pulling in your drive way you smiled seeing all the daisies were still there. Reaching your front door, the smile faded from your face as you noticed you front was open a little, you were certain you had locked it when you left. Slowly pushing open the door you proceeded with caution into your house. You were confused when you looked down to see rose petals. Your eyes gazed up as you saw a trail of rose petals leading to your room. Walking slowly upon the rose petal lain trail you could hear singing and someone playing the guitar, although you couldn't make out the words until you were finally at the door you pushed it open and saw that the petal trail ended at the feet of Billie Joe who was sitting on your bed playing his guitar and singing a song to you. "...now I cannot speak I've lost my voice, I'm speechless and redundant, because I love you is not enough, I'm loss for words..." he finished singing before looking up at you smiling and winking.
" Told you I'd make it up to you." he said smiling.
You did nothing but smile at how adorable he was. You watched as he set his guitar against the wall next to your bed and stood and walked toward you. Without saying a word he grabbed your wrist and pulled you toward the front door and outside. He pulled you into the center of the heart drawn out of daisies in your front yard. He turned toward you and began to speak.
"I know what I did is unexcusable, and all I can say it I am sorry and you have my word that it will never ever happen again...I don't want to loose you, forgive me and my heart is yours...I love you." he said not letting his eyes leave yours.
You starred into his beautiful green eyes and thought about everything he had done for you, the daisies, the song and the amazing apology. It began to rain, pretty hard too, but neither of you moved. You looked up, and back at Billie Joe noticing he hadn't moved his eyes from you. You moved closer to his and whispered into his ear.
"I love you." you whispered. Then kissing him shortly on the lips.
You pulled away and looked into his eyes, those stunning eyes. In the blink of an eye he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into the most passionate kiss ever. You were both soaked from the rain, your hair was completly wet, but amazingly his spiked hair was fine. He picked you up and you wrapped your legs around his waist. You couldn't believe it while still kissing you he somehow made it to your front door and into your house to get out of the rain. You carried you into your room and sat down on your bed with you sitting on top of his still kissing.
