Strange Things Are Happening, chapter 16

Mike woke up with a start and screamed as he seen Tre leaning over him.

"Get away from me!" he yelled and punching Tre.

Tre grabbed his nose, backed away, and yelled, "What the fuck, man?!?"

Billie Joe bent down to Mike and put his hand on Mike's shoulder, "Mike, calm down! What's wrong?"

Mike looked around and realized that he was on the bus laying down on the couch.

He glanced out the window and noticed that the bus was about to leave the city.

"Oh," said Mike, still wide-eyed, "I guess it was a dream... Kind of like yours Bill..."

Billie Joe looked at Mike confused, "What dream?"

"The dream... with the alien thing and my head talking to you... "

Billie Joe laughed, "I have never had a dream like that, man."

"Are you sure?" asked Mike.

Just then Tre cut in, "What the fuck did you punch me for?"

Mike looked over at Tre, with blood dripping from his nose.

"I'm sorry, man. I just had a freaky dream where you and Billie were zombies were trying to kill me... "

Tre grabbed a tissue and held it under his nose; he chuckled at Mike's dream.

"A zombie, huh?" started Tre, "Well, I guess I would've punched myself as well after that a dream like that."

"Yeah... I guess," answered Mike, "Anyway, I think I'm going to go lay down for a bit."

Billie laughed, "Don't have any dreams about me being a zombie and punching me when you wake up, okay Mike?"

Mike laughed, "No, I'll just punch you anyway."
