Relations With Teacher Armstrong, chapter 6
The next day Paige and I were talking secretly in the locker room before P.E.
"I'm surprised someone like him doesn't have a girlfriend," she said quietly.
"He did. They split." I said angrily.
"And that's what he told you..." she said slyly.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked getting worried.
She opened her mouth but no words came out. Then Coach Brown blew the whistle.
"There's the whistle," she said and walked away.

The last bell rang for the weekend. I looked around for Billie Joe but he was no where to be found. I looked for his car but neither was it. I walked home anrgy. How could he leave without me? Why would he leave without me? Then I thought about what Paige had said earlier that day in the locker room. I picked up the pace and walked to my house.

When I got home I called Billie Joe.
"Hello this is Tre..." Tre said stupidly.
"Let me talk to Billie," I said like I usually did when I called.
"Billie!" He yelled. I heard voices in the backgroud. One of them was identical to Paige Santos'.
"Billie is busy now... Click." He hung up.
I called back a million more time but no one would answer the phone so I walked to his house.
I rung the door bell. Billie answered it. "SLAM." He closed the dorr right in my face. I rung it again this time no one answered.
I went to his window which was on the second floor. Two figures was all I could make out. I knew one was Billie's then another figure. Both figures were in Billie's bed. Blond hair, a woman... A girl... Paige Santos was exactly who it was...
I wanted to scream but my voice got hoarse all of a sudden.
I went and rung the door bell again. This time Tre answered it. I pulled him upstairs to Billie Joe's room. I kicked the door open and gave Tre a long passionate kiss that meant nothing.
Billie Joe and Paige stared at us in disbelief.
"Come on Tre let's go somewhere quiet." I said trying to make Billie jealous and went in the direction of Tre's room.
When we got in there he was breathing heavily and said, "What was that about?" he said.
"Didn't you see what was going on in there? That was like my boyfriend cheating on me with my best enemy." I said with much anger in my voice. Tre laughed even though I wasnt trying to be funny.
That Monday Billie Joe didn't come to school and we had a sub. I was called to the office. I thought it was going to be about Billie but all it was was that I was going to have to do the announcments.
But what I saw that night totally freaked me out...
